FREQUENTLY ASKED

DELIVERY & RETURNS

When will my order arrive?

In-stock pieces are prepared for dispatch within 1–3 working days. After that, allow:

  • Ireland — 1–3 working days
  • Northern Ireland & Great Britain — 3–5 working days
  • Rest of the EU — 4–8 working days
  • Rest of the world — 7–14 working days

These run from the day we dispatch, not the day you order. Everything leaves from our Dublin atelier.

How long does a made-to-measure piece take?

Usually 2–4 weeks from the date your measurements are confirmed — not from the date you order. We contact you after your order to agree measurements, fabric and detailing, and the clock starts there.

Wedding season, Christmas and the weeks around a collection launch can extend this. We confirm the expected date in writing before we begin.

Need a piece for a specific date? Tell us before you order and we will confirm whether it is achievable.

What does delivery cost, and do you ship internationally?

Yes — we ship worldwide. Shipping is calculated at checkout from your address, the order weight and the service you pick, and the exact cost is shown before you pay.

Delivery within the Republic of Ireland is free on orders over €150. Standard carriage starts at €6.50 in Ireland and €12.00 to the UK, with higher free-shipping thresholds on international orders.

Full rates are in our Shipping & Delivery policy. Not seeing your country at checkout? Email us — we can often quote manually.

Will I have to pay customs or import duty?

Ireland and the EU: no. Prices include Irish VAT at 23% and there is nothing further to pay.

UK, USA and everywhere else: possibly. Your order may attract import duty, customs charges and local sales tax on arrival. These are set by your country, are not included in what you pay us, and are the recipient’s responsibility.

We cannot mark a parcel as a gift or declare a lower value — that is illegal, and we will not do it.

How do I track my order, and what if it never arrives?

You will get an email with a tracking number and link as soon as your parcel leaves us. Allow up to 24 hours for the carrier to start updating it. If no dispatch email has arrived within the timeframes above, check your spam folder, then contact us.

If tracking says delivered but nothing has arrived, check with neighbours and look for a safe-place photo in your tracking, then tell us within 3 days so we can open an enquiry with the carrier.

If a parcel is simply late, we treat it as lost once it is 10 working days (Ireland and the EU) or 21 working days (rest of world) past its estimated delivery date, and we will replace it or refund you in full.

Can I return something if I change my mind?

Yes. You have 14 days from receiving your order to tell us you want to cancel — no reason needed — and a further 14 days to send it back.

Email info@cindycoutour.com with your order number first; we will send you the return address. Items must come back unworn, unwashed, with tags attached and in their original packaging.

Change-of-mind return postage is at your cost. Please use a tracked service — until the parcel reaches us it is your responsibility.

Can I return a made-to-measure or bespoke piece?

Not for a change of mind. Anything cut, sized, monogrammed or adapted to your specification is excluded from the 14-day cooling-off right by law, because it was made for you alone and cannot be resold.

What we do offer instead:

  • Fittings during production, so problems are caught before the piece is finished.
  • Complimentary adjustments within 30 days where the finished garment does not match the measurements and specification we agreed — we cover the return postage.
  • Your full statutory rights if the piece is faulty, poorly made or materially different from what was agreed.
Something arrived damaged or incorrect. What now?

Email info@cindycoutour.com with your order number and clear photographs of the fault — and, for transit damage, of the outer packaging. Report it within 48 hours of delivery where you can, so we can raise a claim with the carrier.

We will confirm the remedy — repair, replacement or refund — and cover all return costs. Within 30 days of delivery you have the right to reject a faulty item outright and take a full refund.

This applies to every item we sell, bespoke and sale pieces included. Nothing here affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2022.

When will I get my refund?

Within 14 days of your return reaching us, or of you sending proof of postage, whichever comes first. In practice we inspect and process within 3–5 working days of the parcel arriving, and email you to confirm.

Refunds go back to the original payment method. Your bank or card issuer may take a further 3–10 working days to show it — that part is outside our control.
